This lecture will cover how systemic disease affects the eyes and how the eyes can help figure out what the disease is. The eyes are the window to the world. I will discuss congenital, acquired, metabolic, neoplastic and toxic diseases. Week 1 (Real Time Session December 7, 2020)

Erica Tolar received her DVM from University of Illinois in 2003. She did a small animal rotating internship at the University of Tennessee and a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Illinois. She received your diplomate of American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO) Ophthalmology in 2007. She is currently working at a Private referral practice and a private equine ophthalmology practice in Louisville, KY. She is also an ophthalmology consultant on VIN. Total CE Credit: 1.5
