It seems to me that we relief veterinarians who honestly try to understand what the law means, but still seem to be in a gray area, are just potentially screwed either way, depending on how the IRS chooses to interpret the details. Or am I just cynical?

I spoke with someone at Dentalaire. The company confirmed that the water is to keep the bur cool, so running the drill dry (on soft material) is not a problem if the bur is not overheating.

Azathioprine and mycophenolate are handled by entirely different metabolic pathways, enzymes, and efflux pumps. Every dog has inherited different levels of these enzymes and pumps, so each dog responds in a different way to drugs.
