PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

STAYING CONNECTED

Has another vet helped you?
My goodness, where do I start? I practiced solo for 20 years, and my local colleagues were always there to help if I needed it. From borrowing supplies when needed in an emergency, to covering emergencies on vacations, to advice and support, and even to sharing staff on occasion.

Retirement
Okay, I'm hoping there is someone knowledgeable that can help me. I have been to two advisors and can't get a straight answer. I'm wondering how much money I'm supposed to have in retirement if I retire at 55, 60, vs 65. I get it, due to stock fluctuations, changes in economy, retirement health care insurance changes, etc there is not a hard fast answer... But there must be a general idea.
