Investigation of perioperative and anesthetic variables affecting short-term survival of horses with small intestinal strangulating lesions
The difference between abdominal and peripheral lactate concentrations and intraoperative tachycardia were associated with not surviving to anesthetic recovery or hospital discharge.

Prevalence, location, and concurrent diseases of ultrasonographic cyst-like lesions of abdominal lymph nodes in dogs
Twenty-three affected lymph nodes were observed in 17/553 dogs (prevalence=3%). No statistical correlation existed between cyst-like lymph nodal lesion and a specific neoplastic or non-neoplastic disease.

The prevalence of compassion fatigue among veterinary students in Australia and the associated psychological factors
Approximately 30% of veterinary students were at high risk of burnout, 24% were at high risk of secondary traumatic stress, and 21% reported low compassion satisfaction.
