Attending Rounds is Easier than Ever

Remember when attending VIN Rounds meant starting up your computer in the evening, arguing with your browser about your Flash player, then dealing with frequent audio issues while looking at a small slideshow window?

Soon that will be just a bad memory. VIN Rounds are in the process of changing to the Zoom meeting platform. What does this mean for you?

  • Attend Rounds from anywhere on your Android or iOS device, or from your computer.
  • Quick and easy connections. You'll need to download the Zoom program or app once per device, but you'll never have to play whack-a-mole with Flash.
  • Better audio experience. Listen to the session through your computer speakers or headset.
  • Better visual experience. In addition to larger slides, instructors can now easily show videos and other online content.

Sunday Rounds already use Zoom. All other Rounds (VECCS, AAFP, etc.) will transition over the next couple of months.

Learn more about Zoom meetings and find out which Rounds sessions will feature Zoom.

Your feedback is always welcome!
