CATCH UP ON PAUL'S POSTS

First Aid Info for Clients

Covering topics from bee stings and burns to snake bites and shock, this collection of articles provides information on prevention and first aid do's and don'ts for your clients.

The articles are written with as little technical jargon as possible so your clients don't get confused by too many medical terms.

The material is reviewed by VIN Consultants who specialize in emergency medicine, along with the cooperation of the original co-author Michael Thomas, DVM.

I'd Be Embarrassed, Too!

Had a nice elderly couple, whose older female black and white cat I had seen for a number of years, call to say she had gotten out of the house and was gone for several days. Came back and had a "big swelling" by her tail. I told them it was possibly a bite wound abscess and they rushed her in. Got the amiable cat out of her carrier and pulled up the tail to see... a large pair of testicles!

Evidently they had called for their cat at the back door and this random identical cat of the opposite gender had come running in to make himself at home. "They'll never notice -- right?"
