"I Think I Need a Break"

I got home from work late last night and found a BAT on my kitchen counter! So I quickly covered it with a yogurt container and corralled my cats into my bedroom. (Which was no small feat as they were all really hungry and couldn't understand why I wasn't feeding them.) I got the bat outside and put it on the deck railing and stepped back to watch it take off and.... nothing.
