The Day the VIN Stood Still
On Tuesday, December 18, hackers attacked the VIN and VIN Family servers, flooding the internet pipe to VIN, preventing you and all VINners from being able to reach VIN.
The VIN team, with help from professional security gurus we work with, put in place additional fortifications to keep this from reoccurring. Learn more.
Rest assured, no unauthorized persons gained access to VIN or any data.
We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding as the VIN Geeks continue to put out the remaining small fires. Please call 800-700-4636 with any questions or concerns.
Your clients can read public versions of VNS stories at News.vin.com.
