New VIN Calculators To Help Diagnose Cushings and Dilute Drugs for Your Patients

Wondering if you should test for Cushing's? The Cushing's Predictor uses basic parameters to determine the likelihood of Cushing's prior to testing.

If you've already tested, you can add the test results to see what percentage of dogs presenting like your patient truly have Cushing's.

Thanks to VIN consultant Stijn Niessen and his colleagues for this amazing tool.
When you need to dilute a drug for a little patient or obtain a small delivery volume, the new VIN Drug Dosing Dilution Calculator is a big help.

Find both of these new tools in the VIN Suite of Calculators along with a collection of other time-saving tools that can help you calculate everything from Body Surface Area to Gestation to Vertebral Heart Size.
Get to the calculator collection through the VINdex, VIN Library, and some Specialty Centers.

Have you noticed an uptick in pet ownership/acquisition during the past year? Do you see this as a future positive, negative, or neutral?

"Pandemic pets": present, project, or problem? Visit the VIN Front Page Quick Poll to share your pandemic pet ponderings.

Last week's Quick Poll revisited the perennial issue of disaster planning. This question has been posed on a roughly yearly basis since 2016. In this time, the percentage of VINners with a formalized disaster plan has increased from 8% up through 2020 to 11%, while the proportion of those who have never thought of a plan has decreased from 30% in 2016 to 14%.

Visit the Quick Poll Archives to share your opinions and to view the full results of this and other polls.
