Picking a Parasiticide

Fluffy and Fido don't seem to have any trouble finding fleas and ticks.

With the VIN Flea and Tick Products Finder, your search for the best parasiticide for your patient can be just as quick and easy.

Whether you're looking to protect a dog that goes hiking with its owner or a flea-ridden cat that's impossible to pill, this handy tool will help you compare available options.

The Flea and Tick Products Finder is part of the VIN Suite of Calculators, which you can find in the VIN Library and via the VINdex.

Your patient (belonging to an average client, no other extenuating circumstances) dies during a procedure, but you did nothing wrong. Do you send a bill for services?

"Death be not..."charged? With apologies to John Donne, this week's VIN Front Page Quick Poll addresses the sticky issue of billing in the face of patient death. How would you deal with the hypothetical in the poll? Share with your fellow VINners. Does time heal all wounds or does it wait for no veterinarian?

Last week's Quick Poll asked about standard wellness appointment times. Over half of respondents fell into the 20-30 minute range and most of them seem to feel it hits the wellness exam sweet spot.

Visit the Quick Poll Archives to view the full results and to take this and other polls.
