Tell Your VIN Story

VIN turned 30 earlier this year and the party is still going! Throughout the year there will be many ways to celebrate with your VIN colleagues.

Were you on VIN when dial-up modems were all the rage or did you make your first post with a mobile device?

Share your story about why you joined, why you stay, who you've met, and what being a VINner means to you.

Post your story in the discussion that coincides with the year you joined VIN:

Do you feel able to truly take time away from your work for vacation?

Know when it’s time to take a break or does work consume all? This week, the Front Page Quick Poll asks about vacation time. Visit the Front Page to share where you fall between "just one more email" and “ALRIGHT, I'M OUTTA HERE!”

As veterinarians, many of us have firm opinions about training our patients, but when it comes to our human teams, last week's Quick Poll demonstrated that the majority of practices default to a "take it as it comes" approach, with nearly 64% having no formalized training process for new staff. How does your workplace train new team members?

Visit the Quick Poll Archives to share your approach and to read the full results of this and other polls.
