Did You Dial Up to Join VIN on AOL?

Remember when nobody even knew how to Google? In 1997 the World Wide Web was barely spun. By the end of 1999, VIN and the Pet Care Forum would complete the move to the web and say goodbye to AOL forever.

Razor scooters, Google.com, and mobile camera phones were making their debut while 5000 VINners were getting their first glimpse of the VIN bookstore, Vetquest classifieds, and the VIN OSHA library.

No matter when you joined, your VIN journey is part of the history of VIN. Do you remember how and when you first heard about VIN? What was your first post to the VIN Message Boards about? Find the discussion for your year in the list on the right side of this page and share what VIN means to you.

You can show as well as tell! Share a photo, video, or even a song clip.

Can't remember when you joined? Email 30years@vin.com and we'll help you figure it out.

Whatever year you joined, share your thoughts about VIN on this special Message Board and through the VIN 30th Anniversary Center.
