Anatomy:
More Than Bones

IVALA 3D interactive learning tools give you the inside look!
If you've ever had to catheterize a female dog, you know how frustrating it can be if you aren't familiar with the anatomy. This new 3D content can save you (and your patient) a lot of pain.

Navigate to Canine > Abdomen > Vulva Vestibule (Opened).

Find more 3D content in the Student Center, VIN Library, and VINdex.

What is your position on veterinary practice ownership?

Do you want the buck(s) to stop with you? Or do you prefer to do your job and go home? Or is some middle ground your jam? Visit the Front Page and take this week's Quick Poll to share your take on veterinary practice ownership. This poll is a repeat from previous years, so stay tuned next week to see if attitudes toward practice ownership have shifted among VINners.

Teeth are body parts, too! For all that we think of dentistry as separate from medicine or surgery, oral procedures risk cross-contamination like any other surgery. Last week over 50% of VINners taking the Quick Poll stated that they clean and autoclave their dental instruments between every patient. The remaining 40ish percent have an array of approaches to dental instrument hygiene.

Haven't taken the poll yet? It's never too late. Visit the Quick Poll Archives to take this and other polls and to view the full results.
