Breakthroughs in Equine Embryo Cryopreservation

Only the small embryos (<300 µm) provide good pregnancy rates after freezing/thawing and transfer. Using either a slow cool or a vitrification method, pregnancy rates of small equine embryos after freezing/thawing are 50% to 70%.

The Immunopathogenesis of Staphylococcal Skin Infections - A Review
In this review article, the complex interactions between the immune system and the organisms are described using military analogies. The process is described in a sequential manner, starting with the invasion itself, and progressing to the eventual battlezone in which there are heavy casualties on both sides.

Ability of an Oral Formulation of Afoxolaner to Protect Dogs from Borrelia burgdorferi Infection Transmitted by Wild Ixodes scapularis Ticks
In this study, all dogs treated with NexGard 28 days prior to challenge with wild caught I. scapularis ticks were protected from B. burgdorferi infection, while nine out of the ten untreated control dogs were infected.

Gender Pay Gap?

I don't think it is wrong that women who have put motherhood and being a wife as primary in their life get paid less when compared to their male (and single female) counterparts who put career first. As an employer, there is definitely a difference between those who are career focused and give 100% dedication vs those who put their personal lives first for whatever reason. What do you all think?
