Professional Activities

• Associate veterinarian at Walker Road Animal Hospital, 24-hour hospital in Windsor, Ontario. I am both daytime and emergency practitioner and I enjoy emergency medicine and surgery. Along with dogs and cats, I have a special interest in avian, wildlife, and small mammal medicine.

Professional Associations

• Former President of the Essex County Veterinary Association.
• VIN member since 2007 and VIN Rep for Dermatology and Internal Medicine since 2011.

Family

• Married Ryan George Hicks, a Mechanical Engineer, in 2009. We have a son named Cameron George Hicks and a daughter named Mikayla Anne Hicks. I am also proud to be the daughter of Barbara and Philip Horsman.

Hobbies

• When not working or VINning, I enjoy scuba diving, watching television, swimming, traveling, boating, and spending time with family.
