3D Learning

3D Learning

The 3D Anatomy learning modules on VIN are amazing resources that you will find useful both during school and in practice. With 3D Learning, you can turn and twist virtual anatomy specimens and peel away structures as you go. You’re able to test yourself, understand the innervation of muscle groups, review the origins and insertions of muscles, examine the eye layer by layer, and much, much more.

Virtual Clinic

Virtual Clinic

The VIN Virtual Clinic is a fun way to learn while diagnosing and treating patients whose owners won’t be upset if you make a mistake. First, do no harm, right? Experience and experiment with different treatment strategies and learn from the various outcomes.

On the home page for the Virtual Clinic, you’ll find a quick introduction, an area to give feedback or ask questions, a link to the Virtual Clinic FAQ, and a quick video from fellow students at the 2017 SAVMA Symposium talking about their experience using the Virtual Clinic.

There are currently 17 cases presenting 3 common clinical situations you are likely to encounter in as a small animal veterinarianreal-life. These include acute congestive heart failure, acute hemorrhage, anesthesiology and suspected hyperadrenocorticism.

Just as if you were managing a real patient, the Virtual Clinic lets you do things like review radiographs, listen and evaluate heart sounds, administer drugs and decide if your patient needs additional interventions or is ready to release to the wards.
