Course Information:
This course will guide you through understanding the difference between coaching sessions, performance reviews, and feedback meetings and when to use them appropriately to outline expectations and deliver information to employees. When do we give coaching, reviews, or feedback, and how can we tell the difference between them? Learn how to calculate and give raises based on achieving goals, rewards for positive behavior, and enhanced skill development. We address how to correct substandard performance, or when to call it quits and steer a substandard performer right out the front door of the practice for good. We will focus on how to create a perfect 10-employee superstar.
- Understand the difference between coaching sessions, performance reviews, and feedback meetings and when to use them appropriately
- Review a variety of performance styles and recognize successful delivery and implementation
- Discuss how to correct substandard performance through outlining expectations and accountability
- Learn ways to set SMART goals and promote growth with styles of conversations
RACE Accreditation: This program has been RACE approved for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for veterinarians and veterinary technicians/technologists in jurisdictions that recognize RACE approval. (20-1195310)

This presentation will guide you through understanding the difference between coaching sessions, performance reviews, and feedback meetings and when to use them appropriately to outline expectations and deliver information to employees. We will focus on how to create a perfect 10-employee superstar.

- Enrollment qualifications: VIN CE courses are open to VIN member and non-member veterinarians. Veterinarians enrolling in a VSPN CE course must be a VIN member. Veterinary support staff must be a VSPN member to enroll in a VSPN CE or a VIN CE course open to VSPN member enrollment.
