Course Information:
We’ve all heard the saying; cats are not small dogs! This holds true for their dental and oral health too. If you love cats, are a crazy cat person, or love dentistry, this is a must class. This lecture covers the top oral and dental pathology seen in cats. In depth descriptions of tooth resorption (TR), stomatitis (ST), eosinophilic granuloma complex (EGC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and periodontal disease (PD) in felines are described in detail. Learn the details of stomatitis/mucositis, the stages, and types of tooth resorption, how to recognize squamous cell carcinoma, the proper treatment options, and prognosis.
